Popular Post briny_ear Posted August 21 Popular Post Share Posted August 21 For me, he was a symbol of how Emery was changing the team, both in terms of his ability to drive the game forward and his winning mentality, both of which had been a little bit lacking in earlier versions of our most recent PL existence. Also that Emery just knew a whole bunch of players who could deliver what he wanted. Great first season, he played an important role in our success. I want a competitive squad this year, digne does that for us. Digne was far superior last year and is clearly rated by Unai. I think the staff have realised that the hamstring injury has robbed him of a yard of pace so with his style that's a big issue. Expect him to do well there despite the fact they’ll be losing most games no doubt.
