mikeyp102
Love taking his man on, getting to the byline and then getting a cut back. What a baller
Villarocker
Phenomenal signing for the price tag. Miles better than Targett and Digne and will only get better.

duke313
What a signing. If this is the calibre of signing we can expect from Emery, it’s going to transform us. Is this what most of us expected Digne would play like?
TheMightyVillans
every time he attacks it looks like he is going to create something. He has had such a big impact on how we play
bannedfromHandV
I wasn’t entirely sold on this guy after the first few appearances but man, what a player he’s turning into for us. Fits into the team really well and links up well with multiple players. Good composure when it matters and a sharp turn of pace, looking forward to his first goal. Zhan_Zhuang
I predicted a key battle pre-Newcastle game was Moreno v Trippier as I thought the Villa man would be too tricky for him. Another great performance.

Somehow he seemed to be defending and attacking at the same time. Remarkable.
allani
On the Italian TV commentary they mentioned several times how well Luiz was linking up with Moreno - the point they kept making was that Luiz seemed to know exactly where Moreno was and what run he was about to make - so he was passing almost without looking. This meant that the pass was that much quicker and it kept catching Newcastle out because the passes weren't being telegraphed in any way whatsoever. Almost like the defenders were watching Luiz to see where he was going to pass and his eyes were pointing right and then he pinged out an inch perfect pass to his left. To have built that level of understanding in a pretty short period of time is incredible. 2
