Also isn't it reasonably likely to hit the guy on the ground and ricochet upwards of him to loop into the back of the net? It didn't happen loads, but it happened enough for walls to consider it. There’s A player who we signed who had a high reputation for taking free kicks but I only ever seen him score one.
