Genie
I’m still really not sure how I feel about it. I saw them lots of times back in the day, in the 90’s and the early 00’s and it was a great experience. It won’t be the same this time. People will inevitably say it’s amazing but I’m just not sure I want to see them again after all this time and water down the memories of seeing them in their prime. Was kind of hoping there would be a Midlands venue... maybe Villa Park, but I guess its not big enough.
Rugeley Villa
It will still have an edge about it but times are different and even the brothers are a bit older and wiser now . Just accept it for what it is now. It will be good .

Genie
I wonder what the prices will be. Comparable big show tickets (Taylor Swift for example) are averaging well over £100 a ticket. Closer to £200 on average. Edited August 27 by Genie

Genie
The other issue I have with the dates is that many are right at the start of the summer holidays. If (when ) I buy tickets I’ll never hear the end of it from the wife as she finds all these holidays we can’t go on because I’ve made plans…
Popular Post mjmooney Posted August 27 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted August 27 I'm entirely neutral on Oasis. Don't love 'em, don't hate 'em. When they came along, I was relieved to see the emergence of a guitar-based (loud, but melodic) pop-rock band, after the rap, dance and synths horrors of the 80s. Slade without the glitter, and an openly acknowledged debt to The Beatles - what's not to like? Breath of fresh air, I thought. I even bought their first two albums. The novelty soon faded. They started recycling their limited repertoire, and the brotherly squabbles soon got boring. Never saw them live, no desire to. But I get why people like them - especially if you were a kid in the 90s. For those who enjoy - enjoy.
