João Félix

take the same statements about Atletico needing/wanting to sell Felix, Unai loving Felix, Felx wanting Barca, Barca wanted X, Y, Z first, Benefica wanting but can't afford Felix, us wanting him on loan, Atlletico wanting cash, then rotate between 30, 45. 50 mil valuations and 90K - 300K wages, re-order, repeat, change one statement slightly, re-order, throw in a few we sold Diaby type comments, repeat, reheat, re-order for another 5 years.

Surely with Atletico lumping over €80m on Alvarez from City, they’re going to need to recoup some funds from their existing squad and Felix is an obvious source of potential income

I still think we will try and bring him in even if it takes a few more weeks to negotiate

The @AVFCOfficial has shown its formal interest to the @Atleti to sign Joao Felix and that they will make their offer when

Close the transfer of Jhon Duran to Saudi Arabia because they will have cash and above all space in FPF

They have the green light from the player to go

This is a personal challenge for Emery because he thinks he can make him a star

Initial offer will not reach 40M € because they know that the market value today is not the 60 that the
@Atleti is seeking and the player does not collect offers

Makes sense for us to play hardball or negotiate on the fee, if Atletico finally want to sell and resolve the situation then they will have to lower their demands and be willing to compromise… they would be more desperate to get the deal done than us. I assume we have alternatives in mind…

The latest ‘update’ is from a journalist who focuses on Valencia. So not sure why he’s speculating on Felix. It’s all guesswork.

They’ve sold one of their striker’s to Chelsea for at least £35m, they’ve had an equity injection too to bring in Sorloth and they’ve also cleared their wage bill with getting some high earners. The deals do not mean that a Felix deal is close either.

Alvarez is basically identical to Felix in positions he plays, second striker, false 9 imo so I can't see any way Felix and Alvarez play in same team.

Him being re-integrated into their squad just means warming the bench for a season.

Barca aren't coming back for him either signing Dani Olmo.

If he actually wants to go somewhere and start 40 games then we're a pretty good choice for where he is in his career.

Club on the up, elite coach, feel good factor, would probably pay every week. It's a no brainer.

- but this chumps ego couldn't possibly allow up to play for a non traditional European club. Wouldn't want him anyway. The bloke is a clown.

I wonder what number he'll take?

Bet he’s taking loads of numbers from Atleti, who pay him, and will be for the remainder of the season.
