We offer Champions League football and a world class manager. I don’t think he’s rejecting us right now. He might not be willing to take his wage demands down as he’s done with Barca. Although I think the issue is still the agreement with Atletico, I think he’s ok with a move to us. He doesn’t have many choices anyway. I think it probably has more to do with the fact we are trying to get him on loan this year, so it will go down to the death whilst they wait to see if anyone will pony up quicker.
