2 penalties in 2 different games...

The first is a stonewall for Leicester against West Ham. God knows how the ref didn't award it, but VAR did.

The second for Zaha and Palace. Ref awards it and god knows how VAR didn't deem it a blatant dive.

Neither pen was scored.

Forest will be one point off 17th going into the break if they win this.

Given the state they were in a month ago that's a huge boost for them.

The new contract and end of the media trying to get him sacked has worked for them

Extremely competitive Premier League this season.

The promoted clubs aren't whipping boys and are producing a number of shocks as well.

Good in the sense that it's even and everyone has a chance, bad in the sense that you need ot go on a good run to ensure you don't get sucked into the dogfight.

Add in the world cup break aswell as another dynamic. I can't believe the top 6-7 are going to be flying straight after world cup with about 6-7 games in under a month and some key players going to be very disappointed at not winning the World cup so they'll be flat.

Don't think you'll be staying up with fewer than 38 points this season and the mid table area is really clustered when you see how few away wins many teams have.

Some response from Jesse Marsch though. A few minutes from the sack and he's on to beating Liverpool and Spurs back to back.
