GlobalVillan
It'll be interesting to see how many people boycott the next world cup, which has 80% of the games in a country that has the death penalty, straps people to electric chairs and has just banned abortion in 13 states. But neither of these things are a country saying it's illegal to simply exist.

Think the Gilead fraction in the US needs to have a bigger influence before people start comparing tbh. Might be more talk if Trump or his ilk win the election compared to if the Democrats do. Stevo985 Posted December 20, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted December 20, 2022 It's a shame people felt the need to boycott the world cup, because on the pitch it was a superb tournament
UpTheVilla26
Yep, I watched every game bar the 3rd/4th playoff and I loved it. Few crap games, which is to be expected in a Tournament, but on the whole it was excellent and the final was just something else.

Oh well, as the saying goes you gotta stand for something or you'll fall for anything and none of it sat right with me, but I'm glad people got some enjoyment from it.
