Leeroy Posted Thursday at 02:34 Share Posted Thursday at 02:34 Contract until 2029, his contract needs to be extended for another 5 years. If he does 10+ years here we will have been blessed and will achieve special things. I want to see him surpass the 8 years that Ron Saunders stayed here for at the very minimum. We have had so many bad managers over the years I almost thought we were cursed, but my word the owners pulled off an absolute masterstroke getting this bloke in. We will become an elite club if he stays the course here I’m sure. What he has turned us into in less than 2 years is truly remarkable work. Keep him here at all costs, he’s that important to us. 1

Popular Post Colin79 Posted Thursday at 05:28 Popular Post Share Posted Thursday at 05:28 You don’t often get genius and humility in one package in top level sport, the bloke is just perfect and I wouldn’t swap him for anyone in the world. Thank you Unai, you made a grown man cry with pride last night.

What I witnessed last night is something I have waited my whole life for and will remember forever. Every decision he took yesterday was spot on. Even the one he saw going wrong, he had the foresight to be proactive and correct it. From giving Jaden the start, which was a great call, to persisting with Diego Carlos, and of course Jhon Duran coming up trumps yet again; it was yet another in a long line of Unai masterclass’s. Keeping a clean sheet against any iteration of Bayern Munich is newsworthy. Emi was masterful on the big stage, as we know he always is. Thought the whole backline were exceptional throughout. Just superb the lot of them. Proud of everyone associated with the club. What a team we have

I’m sure the preparation for this game was second to none. Every man knew their role, and Bayern’s weaknesses were pinpointed and focussed on.
Popular Post It's Your Round Posted Thursday at 06:36 Popular Post Share Posted Thursday at 06:36 I think it was Martinez that said it post match, they had an 1.5 hour video session just that morning. This team is so incredibly well set up tactically, and so well coached individually, that every single one of them knows exactly what to do. It won’t always be enough to beat every team, but there is nobody else on earth that could give us the best possible chance like Emery.

Nothing unai achieves is by accident it’s down to none stop hard work and incredible skill mixed with the ability to somehow stay so humble. King Unai is really something else and huge credit should be given to Nas for saying Unai your the man go and put in place what you need.
Jbvilla909 Posted Thursday at 06:53 Share Posted Thursday at 06:53 We've had defensive issues most the season, rocks up last night and stops a Bayern team that has been scoring for fun. What a guy. I want so bad for him to win a trophy he deserves it as much as we do.

Jareth Posted Thursday at 07:59 Share Posted Thursday at 07:59 There was so much pre match talk about how Kompany just needed better players to fit his management style and be successful. Unai's got us looking like genuine competitors at this level, from absolute scratch. No way does Kompany or Pep or anyone else in football achieve what he has last night.
Zatman Posted Thursday at 08:16 Share Posted Thursday at 08:16 Unai was the last manager to beat Bayern in a group stage game. He also knocked them out Villarreal They must hate him
punkiller1981 Posted Thursday at 08:16 Share Posted Thursday at 08:16 I’m sure it’s been mentioned before but in the last 12 months this guy has beaten Man City, arsenal twice and Bayern. That’s elite coaching beating top European teams

Jareth Posted Thursday at 08:26 Share Posted Thursday at 08:26 Can't get enough of the Man U fans on twitter last night, if you searched 'Emery' they were nearly all bemoaning how Ten Hag has had the same time and more money and achieved nothing, and they really want Unai. Like they can just wave some money at him and point to their glories.
ferguson1 Posted Thursday at 08:27 Share Posted Thursday at 08:27 The guy deserves to win a trophy or two with us now. His dedication to the Villa cause is unquestionable. Just simply elite and were very blessed to have him.
