MaVilla
i reckon Emery will give some hairdryer treatment for how terribly we managed that game out. showed our immaturity.
Popular Post MaVilla
anyways, after all the drama, 25 wins in a calendar year, a new all time record for Villa. Emery breaking another record. we still have 3 games to go in 2023 also.

Amed
He won’t be happy today - Ben Mee being the usual ********’er he is has rescued us. Having to bring on Duran 65mins in shows how desperate we were.
Farlz
Reasonable as ever from Unai.
KevinRichardsonsMoustache
The man is a class act. He wants his teams to be as cold and calculating (outwardly) as he is.
sne
Not a fan of Cash as RW but the changes Emery made and the call to take out Pau (even if he was feeling an injury) for a more attacking player was a bold call that won the game for us. Great again.
Popular Post stewiek2
We are where we are, knowing that no matter what now a win Friday takes us top of the table, because of this man. We owe him everything we have right now. Elite. Edited December 17, 2023 by stewiek2

Popular Post MWARLEY2
2.24 points per game and a 70 percent win rate this season. Plus a record number of league wins in a calendar year. The records keep tumbling .... But i want more Unai. You can be even better. 2
Popular Post Mark Albrighton Posted December 17, 2023 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted December 17, 2023 Up to 87 points over 42 games. Some of the older folk will remember when a league season in the top flight was 42 games. Converting the 80/81 title winning campaign from 2 points for a win to 3 means the points total back then would be 86 points (26 wins, 8 draws). Emery is one point better than the best season of the manager who is often regarded as the best we ever had.

My one issue with these stats when you see the “converting two points for a win to three” is I’m sure many of the draws in those old seasons would have been wins if there were extra points on the table (that’s why they introduced the rule after all). Still, I won’t argue with the Emery love!

Popular Post DJBOB
A moment of levity for Unai in what was probably one of the weirdest matches in his Villa career. 1
oishiiniku_uk
I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but since Emery came in, the only teams that we've played and not yet beaten at least once are: Liverpool and Wolves. Pretty darn impressive to do that within 40 something games.
