  1. 1. Who is your pick for new Villa boss?

So our fans are desperate for Villa to throw €30m at a 37 year old manager from a minor league with just 3 years managerial experience… seriously?
That’s the most Villa fan thing ever

Definite no to all the experienced PL managers too. Brilliant.

I also think Dyche would be better than people think. Has a bit of the David Moyes when he joined West Ham feel. He would be 100% pragmatic and set the team up in a way that best fits the players we have. He set Burnley up as a big defensive team because that was the right thing to do for the budget that club had

The more I think about it, Dyche is perfect for Villa at this stage.

Not a sexy foreigner with no experience though so won’t get the fans excited.

I think we should stay clear. Too many similarities with Gerrard the more I read about him.

I dunno, i never said he was.

I think someone like Emery would be.

I agree with that.

Emery and Rodgers would be my preferred choices.

Would be very nervous and sceptical about Amorim.

Emery would be great but I don’t see him dropping to us. Same for Poch.

Realistically I think it’s either Dyche or Rodgers and i’d be ok with either.

Dyche or Rodgers would stabilise us in the top half I believe.

FFS.Can we get a manager that has done that and been there in the PL,not a manager that is going to Try to get there, although I think S.Dyche would be ok because a lesser manager would have got Burnley relegated years ago

I’ve been questioning getting Amirom but I also feel going the opposite way for Dyche is a complete non-starter. I don’t think Dyche is perfect for Villa at this stage at all, would be a poor appointment for so many reasons.

It’s not that bad as the stereotype that has been labelled, plus it was Burnley. He was working with what he had.

Plus, beggars can’t be choosers. If we start winning games again then that’s the most important thing. From there we can make it more attractive.

Yeah, he'll set the team up in a way that best suits them. He wouldn't be expensive and if we felt like moving on from him in the summer or after that it wouldn't be difficult.

Say he got us to 11th and we could get a Poch or Emery in the summer. He would leave with his reputation high and we could get the more elite manager.

It'd be so Aston Villa to be relegated by a manager we'd paid a world record fee for.

Gus Hiddink retired from management after a stint as Curaçao boss  last year. Managing Leandro Bacuna will do that to you.

But he likes money.

Him and JT on a short term basis?

Would look at it, if our top choices are out for whatever reason.

Talk of Sean Dyche is just too depressing for words.
