avfc1982am
If Potter goes Chelsea, hopefully Brighton realise that Gerrard would be the perfect fit to take over the reins.

sne
So that's Potter to Chelsea, Poch to Sevilla and Rose to RB Leipzig by the looks of it.

IrishVilla10
The tuchel sacking could be bad news for us if they do go for potter, I’m hoping they’ll want someone like zidane/poch status. If anything it’s proving how slow we’ve been to act. Add into the mix Leicester will probably sack Rodgers after the weekend depending on the result and there’s a team at a similar level looking for a new manager too. Is there anyone who thinks Gerrard should survive a loss at the weekend?

You can't blame Purslow for giving his mate 1 game at a time to save himself.

Hank Scorpio
It's fair to say the dominoes will fall into place now and if we are not part of it,. We may have very few options left by the time we eventually decide to fire Gerrard.
RicRic
I definitely want tuchel … potter is my number one choice though

Anywhere else the trigger would have been pulled and decisive action taken. Lions lead by lambs.

If we can afford to spunk 15- 30 million on players, we then sell.for a pittance- how is a few million in severance pay unaffordable. We've always been too slow to react to underperformed managers and the rot properly sets in.
VillaParkAvenue
It does look very much like we’ll end up with Rodgers. A Rodgers who apparently believes he belongs at a CL club, so could be disappointed and depressed already on arrival
