Got to agree with some others.

If anything, Ollie should be our backup to our new Ollie ( The more intelligent one who has better ball control and can also finish consistently )

Ings I understand.

Although, the thinking , if ther eis any truth here, would be that Ollie is a more saleable asset.

fpl_lyric has changed his location for from Austin to Boston to Birmingham in the past few weeks, never mind the name change in the past hour.

He copied the 1_8_7_4 account with the Emery stuff. Wouldn’t believe a word he says.

Is he a midfielder?

Yes. It would be as shocking to European football as our signing of Kamara if we got Kessie. He’s amazing and a massive upgrade on McGinn.

Kessie, Luiz, Kamara, Dendoncker, is a UCL level stable of central midfielders.

Xavi doesn't seem to have use for Kessie, he's hardly featured. About 200 minutes in the league and less than 300 in the CL

No idea what he was promised when he signed for Barca but I imagine he expected to play.

So he can start with Luiz and Kamara or it would be too defensive?

He can play defensive in a double pivot or high energy box-to-box role. Great passing range, aggressive presser and v good physicality. So yes, in a three with Luiz and Kamara or in a two he’d be fantastic - and only 25 so coming into his prime years. I’d see him as a direct replacement for McGinn or Sanson.

Don’t understand why Barcelona would sell Kessie for 10-15m (but wouldn’t say no of course). Is it the same as with Aubameyang, Barcelona signing players on a free with the intention of selling? The players should be furious.

They've got to clear that billion pound debt somehow!

surprising that we'd entertain offers on Watkins

I think its pretty clear now he’s not going to be good enough to start for us if we’re going for Europe. Backup sure, but other clubs seem to be interested in him plus he is a former England international. Could just be smart financially to sell him now for a good offer as he’d likely be overvalued.
