I don't think he'd be the worst signing, but not sure he'd be much of an upgrade on Mings. Add to that his age and wages, probably not worth it. I think if we are going to make a statement CB signing, they need to be in the 21-25 age bracket. Someone in the Botman mould who can work alongside Mings/Carlos and eventually replace them. Obviously not able to handle the pressure or expectations at United, add to the fact United have been a shitshow for a decade now, would probably do well at the likes of Us, Newcastle or West Ham. I presume Ings will be involved tonight but otherwise a pretty weak bench if all the midfielders are out. Perhaps we'll get one in by end of the week as we know by now transfers can be done in 48 hours with players who previously haven't been linked. Not the right player type for me and I think we should be looking for a player in their prime with an extensive passing range.
