I'm just going through the Real Madrid team from late 90s/early 2000s Looking at players he coached only really Thiago Silva and Jose Antonio Reyes fit into the category maybe Cavani

Indigo
Pako Ayestaran being linked by Tom Collomosse. Highly-regarded as a coach, been said by people at Liverpool that there was a big drop off from them once he left Benitez's staff, although his own managerial career has been a bit of a mess. Technically he said European cup. Maybe he’s bs-ing a little by considering the Toto cup as “European.”
