Popular Post ciggiesnbeer
Alan Shearer Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live Benzema's run in behind Van Dijk had all the hallmarks of a top-class centre forward. ----------------------------------------- Cheers Alan, yeah I reckon this Benzema lad might be pretty good.

Should be a goal imo Yeah, I agree with u on that, he slid in to try and get the ball and his knee passed it to Benzema, to me that is not a deflection

TDR V2
The BT expert (Walton I think) said that accidental touches don't count. Now I have no idea what accidental means when the players spend most of the game trying to con the refs at every opportunity. Genie
I’m sure we’ve seen loads of goals in the PL where the ball “comes off” a defender and makes the attacker onside. Edited May 28, 2022 by Genie

HongKongVillan Posted May 28, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted May 28, 2022 So question, during the VAR bidding process, does the loser of the bid gets a full refund or held onto as fifa deposits?
a m ole
Fabinho didn’t intentionally play it, Konate intentionally blocked it onto Fabinho though. No justification whether the last touch was intentional or not. Edited May 28, 2022 by a m ole
foreveryoung
I can't believe a shot on target but offside is not deemed a shot on target. Still awaiting my £80 from Sky bet

It's any two players. Whether it's a keeper or not is irrelevant. The rule is there must be two players of the other side ahead of you when you receive a pass. There has to be 2 players in front of the attacker. In 99.99% of cases the goalkeeper is one of those players so you're basically looking at the last defender. But those was one of those rare occasions the keeper was ahead of play. I still don't understand how he was offside though as there was no forward pass. Bloody nonsense. They say it was just a deflection I mean if your throwing your leg at the ball and connect with it is that not deliberate? Regardless he seems massively onside anyway, Steve Wonder has drawn the lines here: Edited May 28, 2022 by penguin

MachoFantastico
I've long given up having faith in VAR or how the referees interpret it. Would be more than happy to see it scrapped.
