MrBlack Posted Wednesday at 12:25 Share Posted Wednesday at 12:25 I'm really hoping he doesn't play tonight. But if he does, it could be just the occasion that sees him play his best. His best is good enough, but it only seems to show up twice a season. Without Cash though I don't know what the lesser of three evils is. Bogarde at RB? Ned at RB? Or Konsa at RB and Carlos middle. It's a scary place to be for a game against Bayern, but Carlos wouldn't be getting my vote.

So i think our best hope of recovering that is to play him and Unai to coach him through this challenge until we can improve.

None of them would play for another top 4-6 side so the situations is not an easy one for us to fix. We cant buy our way out of it, we can just hope that Unai can find a solution
jim Posted Wednesday at 21:01 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:01 Rock solid tonight, slight oversight mis judging the flight of the ball but other than that didn’t put a foot wrong.
juanpablosaliceband Posted Wednesday at 21:02 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:02 He’s been getting pelters but I thought he was magnificent tonight.

Zhan_Zhuang Posted Wednesday at 21:04 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:04 Agreed, he was class tonight. 93 minutes in he had to block the ball and took a yellow for the handball; could have cost us but up until then he was solid.
VillaAlex Posted Wednesday at 21:04 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:04 12 hours ago, VillaAlex said: I trust him more vs better sides, he stays more concentrated, he takes less stupid risks. When we play weaker opposition he gets lazy, careless and constantly switches off. It's what annoys me the most about him, he can be a good defender but he decides not to be a lot of the time. Repeat. So brilliant today, so frustrating at same time. Faultless just like v Arsenal last year.

Wezbid Posted Wednesday at 21:06 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:06 He's rightly got some stick for the amount of errors but should also rightly get the plaudits when he performs like tonight. Great work Diego.

bobzy Posted Wednesday at 21:08 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:08 So basically, if Carlos is playing a genuinely top level team, he's superb... but if it's anything else, he'll have a horror show. He was immense tonight.
sharkyvilla Posted Wednesday at 21:09 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:09 Brilliant tonight, albeit Kane was like a statue all game. If he can concentrate on defending and only pass to Emi he's definitely of value to the squad. Pau and Ezri brilliant too.
DeepDish Posted Wednesday at 21:09 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:09 He was great. As was Konsa at RB. Did not have much faith at that combo before the match today.
