Can’t see them haggling over a couple of million for Diego, abandoning that entirely, to then need to spend well over double (£40m) to sign Anderson.

Anderson isn't terrible.

Battle of the ITK with Ornstein and Romano then—the latter suggesting Fulham have been back in touch and a deal is nearly agreed, with the former saying a bid was rejected and haven’t entered into dialogue with us since.

Ornstein is generally more reliable. Particularly with London clubs

He seems to have said the opposite here but doesn’t actually seem to know anything for definite

Can anyone actually find this and where it’s written? Because I can’t so question its validity. Doesn’t sound like the kind of thing he normally says or speculates on twitter about.

Have we fallen out with him? Has he been playing up? Or is it just a matter right time to move on?

Always seems like a model pro. Probably wants guaranteed 1st team football.

Personally would like him to stay. Good option from the bench with the injury fully behind him. Who knows how Mings will be when he returns.

Unlike the Duran situation, he's not done anything to warrant being forcefully shown the door. You could argue his stupid sending off in pre season was close, but he's not dissed the club specifically,  and I think that's just the fact he can't switch off his aggressive side.

If we don't get what we want for him, I'd like to think Monchi and Co know the opportunity cost of keeping him and Fulham's bid didn’t even come close to the mark.

Easy to type on a forum and criticise without the details. There's still 3 weeks of the window left.
