Have him heal up completely and ease into preseason 2023. Edited August 16, 2022 by maqroll

Villatillidie95
There is value out there, look how are Hammers signing all these versatile defenders from the likes of PSG for 10 mil or so, they can cover multiple positions...can't be that bad and versatility is always welcome, there has to be value that are half decent players who can help us cover for diego whilst also adding elsewhere on the pitch. Popular Post maqroll
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about the trainer who ran out and began stretching his leg like he had a cramp when in fact it wasn't a cramp at all. There was clearly a communication problem between the two as well. By stretching his calf muscle, he had to put force down on the Achilles, potentially either causing the injury or making it worse.

It's been mentioned a few times in the thread to be fair. Anyway, I just can't get overt the fact that the bloke has only had knocks throughout his career and only missed a handful of games, then THIS. Well to be fair to the trainer the hand gesture DC was giving him looked like he was saying to stretch his leg. When he hit the ground and rolled over you can see the leg/foot stiff as well so he may have thought it was a cramp too. We will most likely never know what exactly happened though. One could argue it might’ve been even better than Lambert days. So from that perspective he came back good. It’s the transfer to Liverpool and the confidence lost which made him worse.

Yep, it definitely won’t have helped that’s for sure.

Somehow we have the WC break so that would keep a certain amount of games to get him back. Hopefully he recovers well and get back soon.

Vive_La_Villa
Listening to Gerrard comments it sounds like Carlos is a very strong character and person. I have a feeling he’ll be back a lot sooner than people expected.
