OutByEaster? Posted April 24, 2022 Moderator Share Posted April 24, 2022 Nasty one for Livramento at Southampton - looks like he's done his ACL. Long time out with that - shame, he's looked good this season.
HongKongVillan Posted April 24, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted April 24, 2022 If it was just a short term view and just trying to get everton over the line, sacking lumpard now and hire Dyche may be a risk worth taking?
OutByEaster? Posted April 24, 2022 Moderator Share Posted April 24, 2022 Penalty to Chelsea and a red card for West Ham. That's the Hammer's out of European contention I think.
stewiek2
He first pulls his arm outside the area so whilst the letter of the law says it's a red it also is NOT a penalty but a free kick.

MachoFantastico
What the hell was that? One of the worst penalties I've ever witnessed. Shocking.

They also look a lot better in general post-Dyche. Haven't Burnley won like 6 games all season? Haven't checked but heard that recently. If that's the case then I'm not overly concerned at this point.
osmark86
wow Burnley did it. it's going to make the Puhl-derby so much more interesting!
MachoFantastico
Pretty crappy time-wasting from Burnley there but it's to be expected. Liverpool/Everton will be a fascinating game. Everton NEED to go for it.
bannedfromHandV
I’m getting slightly nervous, we absolutely have to beat Norwich next week to put the question of relegation to bed. Unbelievable turnarounds for Newcastle and now Burnley.
useless
Wouldn't be surprised to see Leicester overtake Wolves into eighth place before the end of the season. Burnley winning is a bad result for Leeds as well, as now only four points clear of the bottom three, tomorrow v Palace a must win for them really, as after that they play Man City, Arsenal, and Chelsea. OutByEaster? Posted April 24, 2022 Moderator Share Posted April 24, 2022 If Liverpool beat Everton (which they will) with goal difference taken into account, Everton will need to take 9 more points than us from six games to overtake us.
