think this is just tot trying to drum up interest as they are desperate to get rid

IF Gerrard could get him happy and playing well he could be a huge player for us. Absolutely massive IF. Way too risky imo.

Assume it would be a loan with option to buy if Luiz went to Milan. I think we have a plan in place of if a suitable bid comes for Luiz we have targets we can execute on like Ndombole

If he'd come to the current Everton why would he not come to a better and more progressive team like Villa where he also knows the area etc.

Depends on if there is any bad blood from last time, as irrational or rational as it might be.

Why not? Massively experienced and coming from a CL club. He could have been really good for us if he was used to his strengths??

I don't think he's very good anymore. I can think of 10 better options for the CM position, to be honest.

We don't need another out and out DM like Gueye, we've already got Kamara, Luiz, Iroegbunam, and Chambers that can play that position. If we sign another midfielder it has to be one that can challenge Ramsey and McGinn.

Some nice Twitter BS, haven't had this for a while. Leon Bailey to Roma, apparently.

Leon Bailey is a bit of a conundrum, he could turn out to be the classic, like a new signing, or he could again be a misfire. A lot depends on his fitness. This level of uncertainty, I would say, makes him available if the right offer comes in and if we have a suitable replacement lined up. The fact that he’s not been here long and isn’t a Gerrard signing, probably increases the chance of his departure. I doubt that, at the moment, he’s particularly integral to any future plans.

Roma can’t even afford Dougie

Yes but Barcelona couldn’t afford a cup of tea a few months ago, yet they seem to be throwing money around like confetti again now. Who knows what’s going on in this particularly murky world?

Barca have sold their TV rights for the next 25 years or something like that, so are spending all the money now to try and make it back to the top table.

So bright Purslow needs eye protection.

Gerrard taking all kind of risks looking directly into it.

Find yourself someone who looks at you like how Purslow looks at Don Lange

Hilarious. SG is really going to sell him a week after saying that he'll be in the starting XI? Not unless they're offering Grealish money.
