CVByrne
We're all praying it's not an ACL injury. I'd taken anything other than that. 16 weeks for medial ligament would be ok. He'd be back at beginning of January.

Mazrim
I'm absolutely sick of losing key players early. Sick of it. The jobs hard enough as it is.
ThunderPower_14
It's absolutely sick that our 2 big summer signings are both out with long term injuries. Hopefully it's relatively minor and he's back soon.

He’s in surgery now and they are taking his leg off above the knee in case of leg rot Usual course of leeches before to stem the swelling but not successful. Been given a tincture of quinine for the pain and may never ride his penny farthing again, just had update RIP Edited September 18, 2022 by Follyfoot 1

It seems to happen more often with players from abroad that they get an injury short time after making their debut in the PL. Perhaps they need more time to bed in, to get used to the intensity and fysicallity?

It's a very difficult pill to swallow this year. It's been like a very slowly unfolding disaster. Every time something good happens, and tricks us into having hope, it's like you gradually realise that ten bad things were already fully underway to fruition.
