I would have kept him around but I trust Unai. I suspect that this is a make do deal as we have been unable to shift other high priority players! I do wonder whether this means we will see Hermoso join now. That would certainly soften the blow a bit although I would rather we got a physical right sided centre back. Bit conflicted… my feeling is that if we’re moving him on, let’s do it permanently rather than temporarily. Obviously depends on level of interest and offers though…. but he can also contribute this season (but we have to try and offload him before too long considering age and wages).
