Hopefully that's all behind us now.

Unfortunately the wally then gave an interview saying how he wanted to stay when he had no interest in doing so, so all that was removed.

I still think it's unlikely unless someone buys Targett.

MWARLEY2
Not concerned about him being 33 at the end of the contract. He is built like Vardy and Giggs . Wiry and light on his feet. And after watching his videos he is lightyears quicker than Mr Targett. This should prove to be a very astute signing . Wierd that he is excited to play for Gerrard but then i reversed it in my head . The equivalent of say McGinn being excited to play for Zidane. Its easily understood then
The_Steve
I assume they are saving Lange for the two of them - gonna be a smile for all the ages.

When players get into their early 30’s they have to rely much more on their ability to read the game as well. I shudder to think what Targett will be doing in his 30’s when he gets even slower. Probably stood in the SSN studio on deadline day talking about Southampton’s transfers whilst looking into the wrong camera.
Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted January 11, 2022 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted January 11, 2022 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59960019 Quote Aston Villa are closing in on a £25m deal for Everton defender Lucas Digne and talks are at an advanced stage. If the beeb are on it, then it's usually done. A very good player - hopefully we can tie this up quickly and get him training.
