sheepyvillian
Pickford is some shot - stopper. I really hope they win this, I would take no joy in them being relegated, especially with them always being in the top division.

He’s a figure of fun now for some reason but i’ve rarely seen him let Everton down. He’s never let England down.

Spot on. You have to admire his passion, and the fact he didn't apologise to Virgil Dijike for putting him out the game for 8 months.
sheepyvillian
Loftus-Cheek is now starting to show his true potential. Looks a fine player to me.
Mantis
This reminds me of the 2010/11 season where SHA went down with 39 points.
jacketspuds
If Everton play like this for the rest of the season they’ll stay up.

PieFacE Posted May 1, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted May 1, 2022 Lukaku has played well in 2 games this season, both against Villa. Chelsea have had a pretty poor season. If Abramovic was still there I think Tuchel would be sacked.

I would not lose any sleep if they went down, we went down and was an ever present in the prem. But no one cared because we had been stinking out the league for a few seasons bit like Everton now.
Bizzzle
As long as one of Everton or Leeds go down I’ll be happy
Villa_Vids
I loved that from Everton. Brilliant. I want Leeds or Burnley to go down. Probably Burnley most because of Wesley. Edited May 1, 2022 by Villa_Vids
maqroll
What a result for Everton. Pickford immense when he needed to be. Great drama now at both ends of the table for the run up.
maqroll
Normally I'd prefer Leeds to go down rather than Everton, but I'm rooting for Marsch to keep them up.
The_Steve
Leeds are going down. Huge for Everton to win that game in hand now.

HanoiVillan
Honestly don't really care who goes down, I'm just glad we can enjoy the drama without worry.
VillaChris
Leeds big favourites to drop now. Everton seem to have this knack of rousing themselves at Goodison when it's last chance saloon so could certainly see them getting to 38/39 points now beating Watford away and one of Palace/Brentford at home. Leeds would then have to win two out of Arsenal away, Chelsea home, Brighton home and Brentford away, think that's going to be a struggle for them. They really should've sacked Bielsa in December. Mark Albrighton Posted May 1, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted May 1, 2022 Didn’t think they’d get anything from the game, so fair do’s to Everton. At this rate, Leeds are going to be hoping the same Chelsea turn up when they meet and probably one of Brighton and Brentford are on the beach.
