Villatillidie95
maybe some good players will come out of there, Elmo can always help us with strengthening this partnership further and the academy players can look to him as an example of a player who had a really good career in England. In the last few years we have had him and trezeguet in our team and obviously an egyptian owner so is a good move for the club from a commercial aspect

But judging by today's announcement it might be that the dortmund deal had to expire before they could officially announce it. It'd make sense: can't imagine that both partnerships would be able to run simultaneously, especially as this one seems to be more close-knit than the Dortmund one. Expect them to buy all the best 14-18 year olds in North Africa (our finances will blow all of them out the water, but will still be a snippet compared to the 6 figures we've had to pay for British youngsters. If they are any good they will go to Vitoria for European experience If they are really good they'll end up at Villa.

useless
Nine Vitoria players called up to Portugual U15s David Magalhães; Dinis Freitas; Gonçalo Peixoto; Jose Sacramento; Lourenco Ferreira; Rodrigo Morais; Rodrigo Moreira; Rodrigo Pereira; Santiago Silva Admittedly there are 84 players in the squad, but still, nine from one club is pretty good going and a good sign that they have a lot of promising talent in their academy, I think only Porto and Benfica have more players involved.
useless
As posted in the academy thread we've already had a few Zed players spending time with us, most notably Omar Khadr, who looked really good against our U16s last night. Instagram

Wonder what it does for them guys mentally, if they don't care, don't see it as a thing or it gives them a huge boost as they see it as a pathway to the PL (should that even be the case) or even do they see it as a negative with thr expectation that we block their pathway to the vitoria team by sending our youth there on loan Interested if there is a new buzz around them Anyone dabble with their forums? With Douglas and Phillipe I had a look on his instagram and he has the Brazi flag on his bio thing on there, so don't know if he's half Brazilian or something, looks like he was in England in February, no idea if these players were over here with a view to potentially signing for us, or whether we were just allowing them to spend time at Bodymoor to help with their development. HalfTimePost
So the kid above is signing for Vitoria from Zed and has an option to move to Villa in the terms (all allegedly, according to this random on Twitter, but a little too specific for a kid in Egypt imo)
