Any guesses who might be responsible; probably not the much-reviled 'far right' that we are constantly being warned about. Illegal for them to be active in a PHV Active child locks would also mean drivers having to get out and open the door for people at the end of every fare, even if the driver was breaking his licensing conditions he'd be mad to do that

Isn't there just a button in most cars these days that activates the child locks in the back doors and windows?
OutByEaster? Posted November 15, 2021 Moderator Share Posted November 15, 2021 I think regardless of his motivations, you've got to say fair play to the driver for the speed he's got out and away from the car, and to the guy at the hospital in the hi-vis whose first thought was to run towards a car that just exploded - he's what you want more of. I think that people will latch on to the hero cabbie story because it's a good narrative, people want heroes - he's the passengers that overpowered the hijackers. As for the terrorist attack, as an act of terrorism it's laughably bad, he's managed to kill himself and take out a Vauxhall Zafira whilst also getting his accomplices arrested. A cunningly planned and carefully executed venture to be sure. 2

I'm guessing that the taxi driver possibly had one, and pressed it, thus keeping the passenger in the back, but allowing the driver still to open his door. maqroll
Terror threat in Britain raised to severe...makes you think that there's more chatter out there. It was only a month or so ago that that MP was murdered. Why the uptick now?

I remember reading not so long ago that the far-right terror threat in the US is now greater than that of Islamist extremism. Similarly the highly-publicised racism issue in this country is apparently fuelling the far-right. I believe it always has been. 9-11 really padded the stats for the Islamists, but take that 1 day out of things then the right wingers are winning hands down in the body count numbers. Seat68
I know these things are important to people, it's been confirmed he was a Muslim. Oh shit my bad. A Christian. Or maybe the religion isn't important and he was just a word removed, a useless word removed thankfully, but a word removed no less.

It was reasonably close to the pick up location, nothing more, nothing less It is a very odd choice, it may be the biggest specialist women's hospital in Europe but it's also not exactly a constant hive of activity especially at 11am on Sunday. I'd say the level of activity you see in the video is perfectly normal, it maybe a little busier in the week with scheduled appointments etc but at that time on a Sunday, it's quiet
Wainy316
Isn't the consensus that he was going to the Cathedral but realised he wouldn't make it on time (11am) so asked to stop at the hospital as they passed?
