est1874
I think the best result would be a draw as it would surely spell end of the road for Gerrard as much as a loss. (Taking our 10-game league form to W L L L D W D D L D or 10 points from a possible 30). I just can't "want" us to lose to Fulham no matter how hard I try. But a draw should do it. I genuinely think there's no way NSWE let Purslow keep him if we can't beat Fulham.

Winning will be no indication that Gerrard is turning anything around.

Chine
Wouldn’t be surprised if we start converting chances and score 6 plus over the next 2 games , Gerrard will then get the reprieve then back to normal shite until in seriously deep in February
smg
Just seen the so called pissed in a pub pictures. Looks a few years younger and clearly not pissed. Villa fans embarrassing themselves again sadly. He may not be our future but some of the twitterarti need to grow up. As do their disciples.
Spoony
Just got round to the Chelsea highlights. Christ almighty I’d actually reprieve him for that. Would be harsh to sack him as a result of some of our players being individually shite footballers on the day.

We are in the bottom 3rd of teams for shots per game, bottom 4 for shots on target per game and bottom 2 for goals scored. 2

I have seen instances where, I would question him taking off Luiz.....but hey, I have seen that with every manager at Villa park.....they all make some strange decisions at times, it doesn't define, everything we do. Losing games raises many, many scenario's and confidence is one of them...when you lose the signs on the ground look crooked, the burgers are shit and the beer has no head. Nobody, like losing and breeds, bad temper and bad temper breeds, ill thought reasoning. Nothing is too late.....winning matches changes everything, don't kid yourself.......No one gives up, winning matches, it breeds belief, it blows away negativity, positivity thrives, nothing looks like a problem, performances return with swagger, everything is taken in its stride, tolerance, returns......and joy is reborn. Winning is Key. I find this a bizarre defence of Gerrard. If all Gerrard needs is wins, then I might as well be manager and hope for some wins. It doesn’t make any sense. You need good performances to win games and you need good coaching and management to put in good performances. Gerrard is incapable and clueless so, as a result, we have a horrendous win record in 2022. It’s quite simple. It’s not a lottery system. He’s the worst manager in the league in my opinion and incomparable to others who turned it around. We are by far the worst performing team in the league based on our budget. And undoubtedly the players will have given up on Gerrard. It’s been visible for months. The players are the first to spot a bad manager and Gerrard is undoubtedly a bad manager. They put in an effort because they’re professional. There are literally no reasons to keep him. Even paying him a fortune to leave is a better option to keeping him. Just get a better manager. It can’t be hard. 8
a m ole
Which pundit said we just have to win our next 2 and we’re ‘looking’ at 6th? Because I see Forest within 3 points of us and we’re only a point ahead of Southampton. Leicester are bottom and look terrible but finished 8th last season. We’re in big trouble.

While the season is young, two wins will always move you quickly up the table. The table isn’t really meaningful until at least 15 games or so are played. What’s worrying for us is the fact we look like crap. Keep doing what we’re currently doing and we’ll be in deep trouble by the World cup break, no question about that. 1
