7m is ALOT of comp for a rookie manager.

At the same time you could also say £7m is a pittance for such an important role at the club.

The same thinking goes to the valuation of goalkeepers too. It's such an integral role yet plenty of people get their backs up about a fee for a top keeper being a bit above a decent outfield player.

So people are talking about how Rangers play. But what is being neglected, is that Rangers have better players then every other team in the league and his tactics have been shaped by the need to break down teams that park the bus. Which means those tactics are going to be largely useless to us. He is going to have to adapt to his tactics to play on the backfoot some of time, on the front foot sometimes, and to wrestle for control or at least a foot in the game. Totally different to automatically having that control ceeded to them before a ball is even kicked (as a resultof parking the bus).

Being a  former great player and its impact on your players is a diminishing return the longer the time is from when you stop playing. For the older players like Mings Gerrard is a legend but for the younger players in early 20s will probably not even remember him playing. He last played in the prem over 6 years ago.

He isn't. He does absolutely nothing without the ball. That's not acceptable in the Premier League. He's an impact sub at best at the moment until he learns to defend and press

He is the only one of that has turned in a match winning performance so far. But to address your point he has had only 2 starts, isn't really fit enough to start games yet (due to his injuries), in a team that has been all over the place. So I'd say your assessment is very harsh.

Getting rid of a manager that was supported by many many high profile fans, and many of the fans in the stadium, who was a villa fan, with a track record of going on hot and cold streaks, to replace him with what I would describe as a complete unknown,  who has only managed in a semi professional league (i exaggerate to make the point) is a very brave move. A very brave thing to do

Is brave the right word?

Not from his recent performance

Really, so who out of those four players based on the entirety of the 11 games played has done more than the goal and assist to win a game against Everton. Or the other good cameo against Watford.  Ings has scored two league goals and other wise looked anonymous. Watkins has looked mostly his workman like reliable self, that cannot workout how to play with Ings. Buendia has scored one good goal, but otherwise looked poor. So if your going on recent performances, Bailey certainly has the highest high.  With less starts then the rest too, and lower fitness levels also.

There is already a cluster posters in tears before he's even been appointed!

Bizarre behaviour.

So we aren’t allowed to have an opinion, to assess candidates and make our views known.

I’m sure you’ll be judging team selections before games, are you going to wait until the game is over to comment, be unhappy with team selections before the game has started?

Are you not going to give your views of potential transfer targets before we sign them, before they even play for us….

of course you are going to give your views whether positive or negative…we all will.

That’s all we are doing, that we think this is the wrong move…nobody holds the high ground here.
