We should be going all-out for Favre. Let him bring his people in too. We need an overhaul in our general style of play having lost all semblance of an identity this season, and he's a free agent so we're not up against another club trying to wrest a manager out of his contract mid-season.

I'd love Potter but realistically he's not coming here after his strongest ever start to the season with Brighton, Villa sympathies or no Villa sympathies. I'd expect we may look at him again in the future if things don't work out with the next appointment, but expect Favre would improve us immensely, if only for the short-term.
