Inter Milan's game at Bologna on Thursday did not go ahead amid farcical scenes at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

Rising Covid-19 cases in the Bologna squad meant the local health authority (ASL) placed the team into quarantine for seven to 10 days from Wednesday.

That could have a negative effect on us signing a new LB shortly

As competition for Targett or to replace him?

Sky saying we have approached Bologna for Hickey, I would say if we signed him it would be seen, at least initially as competition. He is only 19 but is a starter for Bologna

Have you or anyone else seen Hickey play?

I asked this the other night. Everyone is speaking really highly about him. Stats are very good, but I haven't found anyone that has actually seen him. He is only 5'9" tall, so we are after his ball skills rather than his 'big strong defender take no shit' skills

Full backs don’t need to be tall, I haven’t seen him play but I bet he is cultured and good on the ball

Feeney plays like he’s 30 now, he will captain England, he’s already an outstanding player. Man United wanted him, this lad is ready now, I thought I saw him in the town centre a few months ago, I wish I spoke to him

Come on SGC, this is too far - you were posting about him the other day much more level headed and I agreed with a lot of your sentiment - this is all too far. He'll go on loan probably or be on the bench for a year first and even that is probably a year away.

I agree he could go very far and he seems like a big talent. But plays like he's 30? Maybe he will Captain England but we can't just chuck him in because he may do.

Harry Kane was crap at Leyton Orient at 17, it would've been horrendous to his career had Spurs just chucked him in the XI because he may have ended up as England Captain. He needed the time and 2-3 more years of loans.

HalfTimePost, I disagree, this lad is ready now, he’s once in a generation player. He’s so composed and good on the ball, elegant, he doesn’t turn 17 until May. This lad will captain England, I’d put money on it now, he was on Fleetwood Town’s bench at 15 years old, Man United wanted him, he’s class, he plays like an experienced pro already

I've last seen him early December when bologna beat Roma 1-0. Looks decent and is rated at Bologna, mihajlovic likes him. Left wing back, technical, gifted, a lot of people will think him lightweight for prem but I think he'd do well.
