Claret&Blue
http://tinyurl.com/ale5a On top of this, my friend goes on a Liverpool chat room and he said that one bloke who's quite reliable on there (he's friends with Carragher!) said that we'd put a bid in last week. Tenuous I know, but gotta be worth hoping?
mykeyb
We will bid on the day he signs for another club.

Claret&Blue
He's gotta be a good signing though hasn't he? He was brilliant in the Euros and he's never exactly been bad for the 'Pool. I wouldn't mind our strikers to score 13 in a season for a start...!
Benji76
i think he'd be a good signing. he won the golden boot at euro 2004!
LancsVillan Posted July 20, 2005 Moderator Share Posted July 20, 2005 i think he'd be a good signing. he won the golden boot at euro 2004! with his head down running at defences style that worked in those games for that team. I do think he would be a good signing - to supplement the ther four not in place of any of them
theboyangel
you'd have to be mad to vote no! He's a young, proven prem striker and a decent international to boot. I like the fact he's always willing to run at the defence, ok his finishing could do with improving (sound familiar) but he was still Liverplops top scorer last season... I'd deffo welcome him into the squad - but as others have said - as another striker not a replacement...

tonyh29
Baros top scored for Liverpool with 9 ... Yes I think he's a quality player but , I doubt we could get him and I also don't think he 's the player we need at present Spurs who are meant to be on a parr with us have Keane (11 league goals) Defoe (13) Kanute(7) And offered 14m for Baptista (even though they didn't get him) we have Angel (7) Vassell (2) Phillips (10) and rumour has it we put a bid of 14p in for some bloke having a kick about down the local park
platty'squiff
If he did sign and played alongside Juan Pablo, the strike partnership would cause a few problems - mostly for commentators!
danrenshaw
Better than what we already have!
Amsterdam_Neil_D
Have a POLL for excuses as to why we can't have quality players. Wages, Did not wnat to come, Not on the A or B list. Not quality ......lol We will move in January 2006 window. Sorry bit fed up today :-(
ED
We won't sign him because apparently the transfer window is already closed and the players we have signed will be our only acquisitions. Right pessimists?
avfcinwales
He'd be a good replacement and improvement if Vassell left.
Condimentalist
Doesn't possess the strength or the work rate of Vassell, even if he is a better finisher. Vassell must stay, even if he is not 1st choice.

Only job done if you want to watch a lot of 0-0 draws down VP next season. I didnt think after last season we could get anymore boring.
