HongKongVillan Posted August 15 VT Supporter Share Posted August 15 (edited) Fair to say without Rooney no one apart from Plymouth fans would have noticed Plymouth have lost in the league and won their game in the cup. The Beeps have even dedicated a comment section for the win against the world beating Cheltenham. But then im not sure what sort of benefit the club will get through this sort of publicity? It’ll be financially less than it’ll cost to sack him in a month or 2 time.

There was hope it would bring in Americsn investment to help them continue to grow. It'll just bring relegation.

EDIT; fwiw, I've been in that pub It’s mad to think only 6 years ago he was considered an elite athlete. Looks like he’s on the Steve Bruce roadmap.

Being an early developer doesn't mean you look 55 at 37. Man needs to get out of management, get out of pubs and focus on his family and health and fitness.

I have the theory that he only takes these jobs to get away from the wife/family so he can drink all night, every night.

His son is on the books at Man Utd, you'd think he'd rather be there to help him develop.
