Think he’s secured a space in the first team squad for the season.

Yeah, he can clearly be the fourth choice CB. Or maybe even third if Carlos is staying. But may have to reserve the rights to see how he performs against rough PL opponents.

We won’t know until he’s tried …

I think so too, he's a versatile player too so will get minutes. Can loan him out in Jan then if we're good with injuries and Mings is back fit and firing

has he been around long enough to class as homegrown for the squads? if so, definitely seems useful player to keep around, adds depth in a couple of positions where we don't have loads.

Gets in as an under 21. Doesn’t take a squad spot at all

He was great but I think he's too small for CB in our team and he needs game time. His development is better suited out on loan.

Completely disagree his development is best done under the tutelage of Emery and his coaching staff if he’s to make it here. We now have the second best manager in the league so what better place to learn. Rather his future is shaped here and not under some - no offence intended 3rd rate manager and subpar facilities down a league or two.

What's his best position? Thought he played MF at Bristol Rovers?

It seems he has the capability to do both competently.

Could potentially develop into a brilliant utility player

DM is his best position - he can fill in as a CB at push. He was brilliant tonight, but most of the stuff he did really well was when he was able to get his head up and play, he's really good on the ball and he can make himself a yard to find a pass - he's competent defensively too, but while he was brilliant this evening, I think it's worth noting that most of the good stuff he did was stuff where he was allowed time to come forward with the ball, like a DM.

Man of the match for me, composed, some really good interceptions and read the game well.  If he can string a few performances like this together he will be starting domestic cup games

Good player but a bit small to play as cb in PL. Maybe he can play in midfielder in the Kamara role.

That ball to Bailey or Cash between the centre half and right back was lovely, I’d keep him around but not sure he’s ready to play CB in the league for us

Watched a lot of Bogarde?

Today first time. But you can see that he has a good technique and he can pass the ball. But how tall is he? For trasmfermarket he is 185cm, but he seems shorter. And also he needs more muscles to play cb.
