Apparently they are only getting half of the 3m reported for jobe bellingham as he only has one year left on his contract

Probably won’t retire his shirt number now 😬

Maybe they'll only retire half of his shirt number then, so goodbye 13 1/2. 😏

I don't think their takeover being delayed is anything to get excited about, it's nothing to do with lack of money, a sign that the takeover is going to collapse or anything like that, just a technicallity involving HKSE approving the deal, but will only delay it by a week or so by the sound of things, from what I've read the people buying them are serious people with plenty of money and big plans, and want to invest in not just the club but the City, whether all that will work out who knows, but their new owners seemingly aren't in the same bracket as current owners, and likes of Bassini and Paul Richardson.

At the moment things looking quite positive for them, or at least more postive than they have for a while, but who knows lots of money and big plans doesn't gurantee anything, and I think next season could still be a struggle as squad isn't great and seems will be restricted by FFP even if they get sell on clauses from Bellingham and Adams deals, unless the ill-reputed club's new owners can find a way around FFP.

If thats the case wont take long for them to come up. Why anyone would want to invest in them ill never know. So many better clubs with bigger potential that them

Hedge fund. Nose mate thinks if they buy the ground as well they'll do a Burnley/Manure and use that as collateral to pile debt back on the club. Can't see them getting much of a bank loan, not when payday loan companies don't operate anymore 😉

They’re a hedge fund. A quick return on their money is all they’re interested in. By their very nature, hedge funds are not into long term projects. Expect a very loud bang when yet another Bluenose bubble explodes.

But if they plough thw money in and get blose up thats all they need.  Only goes messy if they spend big and still continue to be shit

I still dont understand how they get past FFP as they are making massive losses
