KevinRichardsonsMoustache
The initial odds for new manager tell us where folks are putting their money and it's more a reflection of wishful thinking among their fanbase: MANAGER ODDS PROBABILITY Steve Cooper 2/1 33.3% Will Still 5/2 28.6% Jesse Marsch 3/1 25% John Eustace 4/1 20% Lee Carsley 5/1 16.7% Paul Heckingbottom 5/1 16.7% Nathan Jones 6/1 14.3% Tony Mowbray 8/1 11.1% Alex Neil 12/1 7.7% Gary Rowett 15/1 6.3% Neil Warnock 20/1 4.8% Β Why would Steve Cooper want to go there? He'll be looking for a challenge further up the Championship or even a relegation candidate in the PL (akin to what Dean did after he left Villa). Will Still will remain in France (or move to Belgium). Eustace will not return after how he was treated. Lee Carsley will have his eye on being more involved in the England set up. I'm not sure Warnock would put up with the owners.Β

And still very much perceived as a PL calibre manager. Poch doing such a shit job has helped ensure Potter's reputation hasn't been hit too badly. I wouldn't be too surprised to see him rock up at Newcastle in a few months.

They're going to sell him the dream and the project!!! Β It's like us when we were in the Championship.Β We hoped and prayed for some decent names, "we are a big club, sell them the project, promise them this and that, pay them whatever it'll be worth 100m when we are promoted." Simple fact is decent managers won't drop down to that level and **** their CV not getting out the Championship potentially. Β It'll be a no name or a big name who's been shit elsewhere.
