Just wondering if Dortmund will retire his shirt number, having played more games and created much more profit than for his previous club.🤣

Nah, they'll just name a bridge after him on the main Dortmund S-Bahn line

They didn't cash in on the sell on clause that's a false rumour from people getting mixed up, they cashed in on money owed to them by Dortmund on the original transfer fee, many transfers if not most are paid for in installments, small heath got an initial sum from Dortmund and were due another sum a year later, but instead of waiting a year for that second installment they sold the rights to it to a bank, the bank paid less than it was worth, but small heath got money right away to help with running costs.

The sell on clause is something different, that's not something a bank is likely to give them millions of pounds for as no guarantee that Bellingham would leave Dortmund, no one going to pay millions for a clause that might not ever be triggered, or no guarantee that Bellingham wouldn't run his contract down making the clause useless, or what would have happend if Bellingham was involved in a player swap.

The only people for whom it would have made sense to buy the sell on clause is Dortmund themselves but that didn't happen and is apparently quite rare that clubs will pay to remove the sell on clause of one of their own players not sure why.

Isn't it to do with the fact that sell on clause is written in to law for developing the player. I.e. its not an optional thing when you sign someone that young,  so probably can't be bought out.

Former Man City Head Honcho Garry Cook appointed as their CEO, has quite a big reputaiton because of Man City connection and their fans celebrating because of it, but has had a few blunders since then, was involved in Chris Kirchner's failed takeover of Derby and I think was involved with Wigan when they were having ownership issues.

This is why he left them

It's going to get feisty with these new guys.

What better way to get the fans on board than whip up some fervour against the 'Vile' across the city.

We'll be silent, they'll detest it, we'll come out victorious, they'll accept it.

And repeat.

Forever.

Seen espn on social media say people laughed when they retired his shirt number but now he's on the brink of joining Madrid who's laughing now

I'm still **** laughing... Absolute clowns

"We were forced to sell our best ever player, years before his prime, after a single season in the first team, only for him to be sold for over 3 times as much 3 seasons later. Needless to say, we had the last laugh".

Bloser at my work reckons they’re likely to knock the sty down, sell the land off for housing development and build a new mega stadium ready for the premier league.

Lol

And how do they intend yo fill it? Even at their best in PL They could just about sell out a 30k stadium
