I'm not sure who are the stupidest, HS2 or Birmingham council, the idea obviously came from one of them. Name a bridge after a player who only played 40 odd games for a local club, scored four times, and wasn't even born in Birmingham. You really can't make up comedy like this. I mean, Tommy Elphick played 46 games for us, why doesn' he get a mural and a bridge named after him?
