Demitri_C
I just dint understand a couple things here: Why would sullivan lend someone who has gone bankrupt twice 35m pounds i mean its not like its a tenner we are talking serious money. Why would he not invest that 35m in west ham? My other question is how cab they pass the fit and proper test if he has borrowed that off sullivan? I do also wonder what happens to the debt. As he isnt taking over the whole ckub surley the debts still remain?

If he loans the money to purchase Blouses and the loan is defaulted on I am sure he will take ownership of Blues again. He can then sell his shares in West Ham and take over Blues. With Yeung gone he will be back for sloppy seconds, he has a track record of liking sloppy seconds
Popular Post StewieGriffin
"Hello David? Yes, its about that £35m I said I wanted to borrow to invest in a football club?" "Ah yes, Bassy me old china, tell me all about them. "Well, they're in the 2nd tier of their domestic set up, they're in the 2nd biggest city with a population of around 1 million and the other club in the area are bigger but the fans of my prospective club tell me that only their fans live around here and they all frequent the fine public houses in the city centre so we've got a huge catchment area as well as the chance for a some urban regeneration to help give you a nice return on your investment. As for the club themselves, there's been a severe lack on investment in the playing squad lately but some moderate speculation could well see us push for promotion but at worst would see us turn a small profit if we can get more fans through the gates - we've got the best support in the area Im told, and regularly get around 50% of our seats sold despite having no other clubs supporters in the city - the other clubs fans all live in somewhere called The Shire. Isnt that in Lord of the Rings? Anyway, as I say, the opportunity for sporting and business growth here is fantastic. A moderate £35m investment on your part could really get you a return in a couple of seasons if we progress." "Fantastic, I've got £35m or so tied up in the Daily Star and some slap and tickle magazines. I'll divest some of that and sort the rest out with my mate Dave once he's woken up - he sleeps during the day for some reason. Just remind me again, what club is it? I dont recall you telling me" "Oho yes, that would have been helpful wouldn't it? Silly old me. Silly old Bassy! I'll get the papers drawn up, you won't regret this. The fans said they'll all buy you a drink in a pub called Town Mate, so if nothing else you'll save money when you come to visit! It's Birmingham City in the English Championship.... Hello? Mr Sullivan? David? Hello? I think I've lost you? Oh bloody hell, right where's the number for that Chinese hairdresser?" 5
Jimzk5
Didnt this bloke also say he had agreed a deal to buy Oldham, and before that wore a Bolton shirt on TV saying he was buying them? We went to to the wall under a fraud and our prayers were answered saving our club with Edens and Sawiris They're going to the wall with a bloke who's credit rating is so low he can't by anything accept small heath Although this obviously won't go ahead it's still funny
HalfTimePost
It's always funny to see your rivals doing poorly but I do wonder what it'd be like to have to manufacture your biggest Derby with somebody else, it's always been Blues for me growing up through the late 90s. WBA I suppose before that for some fans but they aren't going to be much of a rivalry for a little while. Would we end up having to create a rivalry with Wolves or Leicester as our biggest Derby? Would be weird. Although I suppose we don't stand much chance of playing Blues any time soon, it'd be a shame if they went entirely to the wall. Popular Post Amsterdam_Neil_D
We could drop them as our local rivals. Like when Nike drop an athlete for worrying sheep or something. They just are not good as rivals, no ground, no fans and no clue. If it was boxing, it would have been stopped a long time ago. Demitri_C
Before blose the big rivalry was with the sky blose coventry in the PL early years. That rivalry has died down significantly now. Id happily do same with the blosers. Let them gi the oldham route. Id be happy if they ended up like that

villarule123 Posted June 14, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted June 14, 2022 They've announced to the stock exchange that a part sale of shares of the club has been sold (presumably to Bassini). They've also said that there's no agreement for the other 75% of the club to be sold further on down the line. They're ****!
Davkaus
Who would buy 25% of a failing business, leaving control in the hands of owners running it in to the ground? Bizarre.
