Cliffy Biro
Even if they did get a new owner why would it mean that they would be on the up? Dont even see why anyone would want to buy them, hardly a money spinner are they?
Popular Post TrentVilla Posted March 7, 2014 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted March 7, 2014 Well you know the old Chinese proverb, when one door closes another door opens. I think it is fitting in this instance. Only the door closing is on Yeung's cell and its his back door that will be opening.

Big_John_10
So how does this effect any potential sale? Will he be able to sell the club?
LondonLax
It is a pretty rediculous state of affairs when the fate of your club can be decided by the Hong Kong justice system. The FA really needs to get its shit together with its so called 'fit and proper person' test and stop just accepting grubby money from anyone. It might be funny to be laughing at Birmingham now but it could be us next if Lerner decides to sell up to the wrong people.
TrentVilla Posted March 7, 2014 Moderator Share Posted March 7, 2014 The FA have already washed their hands of this one as Small Heath were in the PL when he took over so its nothing to do with the FA and Football League.

turnbull
Interesting article in the Brum Mirror the other night. villa4europe
the fit and proper test is as bad as a CRB check, it only flags if you've been caught doing something dodgy before how hard would it have been to ask "where does the money come from" "I'm really good at gambling so i won most of it, my casino owning mates are lending me the rest" if that's a pass what does it take to fail? TrinityRoadSteps
All this talk of the fit and proper person test. I think Carson was very fit and proper to own that shower
Villaninireland
They cant even flog the 12 1/2 % they thought they had sold to a "mystery buyer" as the said buyer didn't pay the deposit .

Davkaus
I can't see how an actual "fit and proper person" test would stand up if the would-be buyer and seller of the club decided to challenge it in court. I think they're trying to appear to be doing something, knowing they can't.
Eames
There is no "test" per say. It's self evaluation. You have to answer questions to show you are suitable. Unless you're uncommonly stupid you can't "fail it"
