deeps
McGinn not at the races. I’d be fuming if we lose this.

Genie
It’s like the game against Liverpool but with far less clinical finishing.
Panto_Villan
Really enjoying this game, think we're good value for the draw and hopefully even the victory. Trez and Grealish looking great, McGinn looking awful. Wouldn't really mind even if we lost though, I watch football to be entertained at the end of the day. 2 1
Wainy316
Yeah we’ll def get done on the breaking when pushing forward. Need to equalise early.
maqroll
We need better options off the bench.
nick76
Just came n this forum after watching the 1st half so don’t know what the general vibe is but for me, McGinn is awful today. otherwise how haven’t we scored. This game could easily be 3-2 now with the chances for both sides.
The_Steve
On a different day this game is 4-2 or 4-3 Villa. We are much the better side but Konsa and Mings have been sleepy far too often. Too casual with such a high line. Brighton are happy to stick 8 or 9 bodies and break from the wings. Frustrating that for a player with such a terrible first touch, we let Welbeck score, and almost again.
OutByEaster? Posted November 21, 2020 Moderator Share Posted November 21, 2020 Not quite good enough. We've been the better side and we're lucky not to be two down. Brighton with the consummate away performance - ride your luck, wait for a mistake and capitalise - we're making too many mistakes. That said, we could have scored three, we're very unlucky not to have scored any and it would be no surprise if these teams had gone in at 3-3. We need to turn chances into goals and the way we're defending, we might need four for a win.

I'd honestly consider bringing on Hourihane, we're not losing much in sacrificing John here, and Conor gives us a set piece threat.
brummybloke
Thought we played tomorrow, so only seen the last 8 minutes. Can see traore is on, that doesn't bode well as he doesn't seem to have pace or hard work in him. Prove me wrong traore.

We may score a couple but Brighton are scoring another Jeez why so negative?? We’ve been playing pretty well. Midfield is doing well other than McGinn
VillanousOne
never seen us dominate a game so totally and yet still be losing
PaulC
We can still win this. Trez missed a sitter but I think has been excellent. Not happy at all about that goal! Shocking from Mings.

penguin
Was always going to be a bit of a weird game with the amount of football some of our players have played in the internationals. And of course Barkley goes off with a muscular injury despite playing none! Unlucky not to have scored but they’ve also created since going behind, Lamptey was getting far too much space but looks like Smith has changed the shape to prevent that now though. McGinn needs a rest he’s largely been awful. Well score but they could well hit us on the break also.
Danishlad
Mings cost the goal. Out of position and too slow to get back in. Just like against Leeds. For their first goal.
lapal_fan
All over them! Keep it up, but that goal was criminal haha, most defensive player was 20 yards into their half lmao. Rather play like this though, it's brave and exciting.
