I also think Smith got it wrong benching Trez. He's actually looked somewhat bright since coming on.

I was surprised he was benched. Traore has shown us nothing in his sub appearances to show he's an upgrade tbh.

top 10 is laughable. We'll be out of it by the end of November. **** joke this side. No spine, no mentality, and that's a lack of leadership top down. When it's going well fine, but the shit hits the fan and not one of these spineless wasters steps up

We've made some stupid mistakes alright, and been punished accordingly. I see similarities with the Leeds game. Everything just goes in someone at the moment. It's not like JWP scores those goals every week. He's done exceptionally well, just as Bamford did last week.

Hopefully we see some sort of reaction second half.

How long have you been waiting to post this?

I could have posted it after the Leeds game but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and hoped it was a blip. Turns out what went on in the previous 4 games was the blip!

Starting to worry about Watkins. Been some Scott Hogan level performances. Hope its him just getting used to it.

Me too, but only a little because our service to him has been absolutely diabolical. He's really living off scraps.

we will lose some games this season. we all understand this right?

It's the manner in which we've lost/are losing. Pathetic and it isn't being a bad fan to say so.

I wonder what Liverpool supporters thought of the manner in which they lost to us.

I'm sure some did, but it is not even comparable for a number of reasons.

It's like asking if Real Madrid fans worry for their future if they get a one off battering by Alaves.

I’m talking about our performance today. Nothing to do with Everton.

This same Southampton battered Everton last week

Or was that also because of the opposition being poor rather than Southampton being good?

The Watkins situation worries me. It’s like we don’t know how to play him. Aside from the Liverpool game he’s barely had a chance.
For £30m we shouldn’t be saying that.

Agreed. He’s look more a winger than striker.. probably can cut it as a striker when counter attacking , but don’t  have the skill/ tricks to play as in-box striker ...
