Popular Post QldVilla Posted July 5 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted July 5 (edited) The narrative with the World Cup was that Messi won it for Argentina, but I’m adamant Martinez was just as important and he proved the difference again in this match. Well done Emi. Edited July 5 by QldVilla

Well done Emi. Emi transformed them. His elite mentality and win at all costs is what they lacked.

Popular Post Jas10
Don’t think it’s even close for best and most important player at the club. It would be very difficult to replace one or two others… but impossible to replace Emi and everything he brings. World number 1

Cutler deserves a lot of credit for seeing what many didn’t, Including Emery.

Delphinho123
On a side note, I'd love to know how many Argentina shirts have been printed without the number 10 on them.

The Villa keeper, the former Arsenal keeper, the 31-year-old Argentinian, etc etc. If they just called him the former Arsenal keeper that would be weird, but as one reference in an article that’s just how writing works. (Also probably an SEO component of an Arsenal mention, or whatever SEO is called these days). 5
