useless
He's had a couple of below standard games, it doesn't mean anything, he had such games here and there last season, as do most players at every club. Last season he scored nineteen and assisted thirteen, that's phenomenal, doesn't get much more elite than that by current Premier League standards, and the main reason we had as good of a season as we had. of course he isn't going to be dropped, a waste of time to even entertain that idea, he's no more going to be dropped than Martinez, probably our best outfield player if you look past further than the last few games
Steero113
I feel dirty for even thinking about criticising him.

We played the best defence in the league and created some brilliant chances, we will score goals.
Beastmix
He's just still a bit rusty from not having a pre-season. He'll be fine, the more minutes he gets.

Eligius
Just one of those days for Ollie, missed two golden chances, passes were astray and got in the way of a Villa shots. He'll be back with a bang very soon.

Keener window-cleaner
There were many other players who played in the Euros, I wonder how come he is the one that has needed the longest time to get back into sharpness. England got to the final, but he didn't play so much so he is not the one I would have expected would need the most rest afterwards. He has had some spells before where he has made this kind of misses, what's certain is that he will bounce back.

It's Your Round
Chill out folks. Watkins will score a tonne of goals again this season, today wasn’t great but he’ll get there.
a-k
The miss in the second half wasn't even that bad tbh. Ball was bouncing upwards which meant he had to dive in head first (KW.gif) and I don't think he was expecting Raya to get up that quickly. It wasn't like a couple of seasons ago when McGinn was flying in with ridiculous diving headers for no reason
PaulC
Just mot match sharp yet. He will get it back no worries.

bakers29
He blows so hot & cold through a 90 min period... frustrating but when he is on it, he is unplayable.
grobs
Problem he has is the problem he always has. Any chance where he has any time to think he will fluff it. That’s what stops him from being an elite striker.
