Thug
Was superb today. Not his usual selfish self.
Popular Post KentVillan
This is the shape that suits him. That was vintage Ollie Watkins. Strong, tenacious, making all the right runs, and holding up the ball intelligently. Also played with his head up and released it - and should have had an assist for the chance JJ fluffed. Superb.

The shape seems to suit most of our players. Hopefully the penny has dropped with Gerrard.
sheepyvillian
Worked his socks off today. And also made some good decisions when the ball was at his feet.
Sulberto21
Technical ability today was superb. This is what’s needed week in week out.
rodders0223
Playing twice as well as he did last year without the rewards. I didn't think you could improve your first touch and sharpness a great deal at 26 as you are what you are after 200 odd games. I may have been wrong.
R.Bear
I said in the match thread that he's been very good the last few games. An absolute nuisance to defenders, they must hate playing against him. Sadly his form has gone a little under the radar because of the poor results. Either way, he's first name on the teamsheet atm and I never thought I'd say that again.

Most weeks the balls bouncing off him or his passes are underhit. If he held the ball up like that on a regular basis we'd be a much stronger team.
Chine
Keep these levels up Ollie!! Superb today !! , he must be a joy to play with when he’s like this as he occupies 2-3 defenders at a time !
The Fun Factory
Held the ball up well and surprise, surprise, was better on his on up front.
mikeyp102
That was the Ollie we saw the first season. Hold up play was so much better, ran tirelessly for the team. Great to see
HeyAnty
Where has this been for past 6-12 months? Needs to be played down the middle anytime he’s on.

Great to see Playing in front of a solid four man centre midfield is the reason imo.
carlitobrigante
Seems much less selfish than last season, passing to open players more often rather than running himself down blind alleys.
mole86
He’s quietly having a pretty good start to the season
VillaAlex
His link up play has improved, he's holding it up a bit better. He had his faults but he also has very little service. Still one of the first names on the team sheet for me.
May-Z
Please control a football without making it look difficult. We need Countinho and the other CMs to be brought into play.
