maqroll
Better upside/sell on value with Ollie. Sell Ings, keep Ollie but sign a new striker to be the first choice. Let Ollie fight for his place. In the meantime we need someone who could have buried those 1v1's today.
Delphinho123
I hate myself for saying it, but I kind of agree that we need to start selling players at the top of their value. If someone comes in for Watkins with a £40+m offer, then we probably need to look at it. He’s not a bad player. Not by any stretch, but so many of our moves breakdown when they reach him and his finishing is average at best tbh. Im honestly not sure whether we should sell him or not, I just don’t know if he’s good enough for where we want to be. Work rate, energy and pace aside, he’s really not got a lot else?

Mcginn would be the other one I would accept a decent offer for. Good player but not right for the system.

Khizzy
Anyone know what his conversion rate is? Seems like he puts away 1 in 5 chances or something similar.
Zhan_Zhuang
I like Watkins but he does miss a few, should have scored two today. And it has really cost us a few points. Is Tammy better?

Someone like Defoe? I think Watkin's needs to hire him himself!! I can't see Arsenal calling anymore. but if they still want him, I will **** drive him there myself. He may be in double figures, but the amount he has missed are probably in triple. He's no one without Grealish. He is used to being the main focus, like everything going through him, unfortunately we don't play this way anymore.

Is Tammy better? Missed an insane amount of chances for us in the Championship. A good thing about both is that they back themselves after a miss. About the most reasoned response on here. Watkins running gets him into all kinds of great places that most other strikers would never bother. He chases lost causes all game and until we have a midfield that con dominate the middle 3rd we will need a striker who will chase ball after ball over the top. Tomaszk
No one will buy Ings off us. Watkins is so frustrating but everything outside of his goalscoring would be incredibly difficult to replace.

Ramsey is a better player than him. i'd argue probably a better finisher too.

I’m not saying anyone will, but if we do receive a substantial offer then it’s worth looking at. Apparently West Ham were looking at him in Jan…I agree though, maybe their won’t be any takers. VillaParkAvenue
Watkins scores pretty much in line with his xG. Outperformers compared to xG are Son, De Bruyne, Vardy, Smith-Rowe, Maddison and our Ramsey. The numbers for De Bruyne are crazy, he’s scored almost three times his xG this season. Underperformers are Aubameyang, Lacazette, Werner, Wood, Martinelli, King, Welbeck, Havertz, Antonio, Sterling.
Adman
I get frustrated with Ollie, but on reflection how many chances were created for him today? From memory the only chances he had were from him harrying and harassing the defence which I'm not sure ings would have created for himself. He was pretty much on his own up too the whole game
