Vive_La_Villa
Liked the look of him in friendlies. This will be a big test to see where he is with his development.

villa4europe
Surprise for me is that out of the 4 CB prospects that we had in our academy 2 of them made debuts this year and they're not Kerr and Feeney
rodders0223
Put Bogarde to shame. Unlucky he's not right footed as he's lightyears ahead.
bobzy
He had a pretty good game - lapse at the end just letting long balls bounce for fun but, otherwise, kept calm all game and seemed to have an excellent pass (and weight of pass) on him.
VillaAlex
I think he did as well as a young centre back can do. He did make a few positional errors, and I thought they let him have a lot of time on the ball as his passing wasn't crisp albeit accurate. But he handled himself well otherwise and can be happy with his first senior performance.
WooJung
Over the 90 minutes he was probably our best player, despite his lapse at the end

He’s lucky they didn’t score in the first half when he went walkies. Was at fault for their goal after plenty of warnings. But, he’s about 7 years old. Did very well for that age. sharkyvilla
He does look more like a centre half than Bogarde. Both of them would probably have benefitted playing alongside an experienced CB rather than each other.
LondonLax
He tired towards the end but showed some promise early on.

KevinRichardsonsMoustache
Thought he looked good for large chunks of the game and physically ready for football in the senior team. Lost some of his composure when dealing with long balls over the top in the last fifteen minutes or so, but his languid style reminded me a bit of a more robust Pau. Jbvilla909
He made no more errors last night than what we see from Carlos in a game.
Delphinho123
He’s a wish.com Pau Torres. Concerning he was better than Bogarde and Bogarde is considered to be a strong candidate for right back.

Nah, he made quite a few more and against league one opposition. He frequently misjudged the flight of the ball and that caught him out a few times. He's a kid with very little senior experience, so it's to be expected. He's got a long way to go, though.
villan-scott Posted September 25 VT Supporter Share Posted September 25 I liked the look of him. Definitely something there to work with. Looked big, physical and tidy on the ball. If he could become a Pau & Mings hybrid that would be ideal
JAMAICAN-VILLAN
2 hours ago, SimonVilla said: He’s been watching Pau Was my thought as well after seeing some of his play. In pre season inwas impressed with Bogardes composure, however he has looked pretty shaky in completive " mens " football at times. Swinkels to me looks more likely to make it to a higher level. Probably not right to judge so early though. Edited September 25 by JAMAICAN-VILLAN
