Demitri_C
Neither side impressed. I still think stoke or norwich will walk away with it this year

bannedfromHandV
Stoke will be better this season for sure, better manager and squad, signed some good quality for that level.
VillaChris
Looks like Brentford will be starting second season in a row losing 1-0 against SHA. Same lacklustre way they finished last season, need to sort out what's happening with Benrahama and get some more creativity into their team as Toney isn't the sort of striker who can create goals by himself. VillaChris
Bournemouth going to score their way out of the division, 3-2 v Blackburn. Left Brooks and Billing out of their first 11 which suggests both will probably be on the move. Quite a few leading teams aren't playing players who'll probably move on in next few weeks so think we'll see even more odd results than usual in championship in the next month. Villaphan04
Already looks like it will be a tight race this year. Reading and Luton the only teams to win both their opening league matches.

VillaChris
Zat creating his Michael O'Neill out thread as we speak. Bielsa lite worship but no goals for Stoke in two games so similar to how they started last season. Just starting one striker upfront looks an odd move to me when they've just signed Stephen Fletcher and also had Tyrese Campbell on bench who had a decent scoring season for them last year. Already getting restless on the Oatcake forum. Not sure on some of their signings, bit of an O.A.P selection.
MrSmirch
Are there any standout teams this year? Watford have been threatening to use some of their South American strikers for the last 3 years but never do. Feels like it could be an 19 horse race for playoffs Edited September 26, 2020 by MrSmirch
useless
Watching some of the Wycombe v Swansea game and Wycome look like they could set the record for lowest ever points total in the championship.
VillaChris
Sarr playing for Watford today so dosen't look like he's close to a move. Deeney also on the bench.

useless
I thought Forest and Derby might do well this season... Having lost their first two Derby have now just conceded three goals in four minutes against Blackburn.
