Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted June 22, 2022 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted June 22, 2022 Against players his own age, you see just how much potential he has. He's the best player in this tournament.
theboyangel
I’m sure Gerrard and Co are watching this and looking to resolve the contract situation once the tourno has finished. guaranteed, he’ll be messaging him (and our other players) giving him praise and encouragement. Popular Post PieFacE Posted June 22, 2022 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted June 22, 2022 Yeah I think he's in a weird place where he's too good for this level but not quite there for Premier League men's football. Probably needs a loan out.

Tom13
That reverse pass from Alfie Devine into Chambers was beautiful.

Chasetown Villa
If he doesn’t stay with us we will regret it immensely within about 2 years. This lad is going to be an absolute gem.
MWARLEY2
Played really well and was disciplined with it playing in central midfield he didnt shy away from his defensive responsibilities. And obviously the goal was so well taken. In terms of style he is so good to watch. As good to watch as Grealish in how he takes the ball and runs with it. Compared to the other England players its night and day .
villabromsgrove
He's not ready yet imo. He's confident against players of his own age, he knows how good he is and has physical advantages .... but, in the PL he has looked distinctly nervous and aware that he's playing against "men".

Farlz
Way, way too good for this level but we already knew that. Give him the lot honestly. We can’t lose him whatsoever.

We will see next season. He seems to be far more aware tactically now . The kid has never had to learn the other side of the game until now. Its been " give it to Carney" i guess from the age of 11. Tomaszk
Should we be buying a midfielder? Probably yes if Doug goes, but we need to be getting Carney in before pre-season. Say sign this and you'll be playing PL football every week and probably starting by the end of the season.

Popular Post useless
He's only not ready if you expect him to look immediately as good for the first team as he does for our U23s or England youth, no academy player other than extreme rare examples is going to look that good at senior level straight away, I'd say he's about as ready as Jacob Ramsey was a year or so back, in that he can do a competent job at first team level and as he gets more game time will get better and better. Also not really sure what point peole are making by saying 'it's only kids' he's playing against, he's only a kid himself, hes' actually playing an age up, and these players he's playing against in this tournament are all going to be very good players in their own right some of them dropped down an age because this is a tournament, England would have done the same with the likes of Elliot if it wasn't for the the U21s needing him, Austria had a full international in their team at the weekend. Also there's some very good players in the England squad, and he's standing out amongst them.
