A winger would be a back-up to jack or would mean Traore on the bench. I don't think a £18m player was signed to sit on the bench. We are not yet in that position. Saying that though, I think Barkley offers the same statement of intent as Rashica would've done, if not more. We have no doubts about how he can handle himself in the league and he'll almost certainly help us kick on.
